Cozy Cornbread 🌽
A loaf of cornbread is a autumn classic that is super fun and easy to make. This is my favorite recipe when it comes to making this quintessential fall meal.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of flour
1/2 cup of cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/3 teaspoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/2 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 tablespoon of butter, for pan
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Butter bread pan (8in. by 3in.) and set aside. 
- In a medium bowl combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. Form a well in the middle for wet ingredients. 
- In a small bowl, combine milk, egg, olive oil and vanilla extract. 
- Gently pour the wet ingredients into the pre-made well and mix until combined. 
- Pour into prepared pan making sure that the pan is evenly covered. 
- Put into oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the crust is a golden brown color. 
- Let cool before serving!
